according to online reports, in several different languages, coming from various sources around the world, green cats have sprung from the modern gene pool.
these reports claim that the first green cat was discovered in denmark in 1995. citing the increased amount of copper element in the cat’s diet (which the article says is abundant in that part of the world) as responsible for the genetic mutation, this unusual cat (named Miss Greeny by its owner, i think… much like the philippines’ Whitey, Blacky and Browny dogs) gave birth to a litter of even more green kittens.
the webpages containing these articles have more photos of green cats: tabby, calico, solid, long hair, short hair. they claim these images weren’t photoshopped at all, as some of us might surmise. given that, either the descendants of Miss Greeny have gone forth and multiplied or some cat fanciers have dabbled with genetics to develop green cats as a regular showbench species. there was even a statement about a fancier wanting to develop green-point siamese cats…
how true is it, i wonder???
well, not that there are network wars between the two, but i can’t help but pit the two against each other one way or another.
for me, it’s cartoon network, hands down. for the emmy’s this year, it’s also cartoon network, by a long shot, a good number of special animation awards having been granted to various episodes of my gym partner’s a monkey, camp lazlo, the grim adventures of billy and mandy and foster’s home for imaginary friends.

from the other network, the avatar: the last airbender was honored.

while i am also very keen on the avatar, seeing that most awards went to series that are somehow eerily reminiscent of some modern art movement at the turn of the 20th century, i am now pretty certain of the randomness of ordinary thought.
